A TALENTED bunch of local rockers need YOUR help to help them reach the top of a national competition.

Gainsborough band They Say Fall formed in early 2010 under the name Brayford.

Since then, they’ve changed their name, shook up their line-up, released a string of critically acclaimed EPs and wowed rock-lovers around the UK - and even om Europe.

The band consist of Tomm Manning on bass, Kehn Toyne on lead vocals and keys, guitarists Kyle Leeman and Brad Bishell and drummer Joe Sleight - and together, they’ve been making waves in the hard rock scene.

They’ve even featured in magazines Kerrang and Front - placing third in the Kerrang Rising Records competition and Slam Dunk competition.

Now, they’re going strong in the Red Bull Bedroom Jam competition.

They’re currently dominating among their peers with over 1,500 votes and a staggering rating of 4.4 stars out of 5, but they need YOUR votes to help them to the top.

The winning band gets the chance to the chance to play some of the UK’s top festivals, record in the Red Bull Studios in London and score a support slot with a huge rock act.

“We entered the competition the night that it opened,” said guitarist Kyle Leeman.

“At first we didn’t expect much to happen, then we refreshed the page and it showed that we had about 30 votes after a minute or so, then it shot up to about 800 overnight.”

He continued: “We’ve been super happy with how many we’ve had so far. We’ve got about 1,600 votes and we’re currently fourth out of hundreds of bands.”

“We just never thought that many people would want to get involved and we’re so thankful.”

So what would it mean to the band if They Say Fall were to win the competition?

“It would mean everything, really,” said Kyle. “There’s nothing else that any of us want to do other than music.”

“The band that won last year just went on to do some unreal stuff and it would be amazing to get that headstart.”

Kyle added: “To get as far as we can would be awesome, and the fact that people are enjoying what we do and taking the short time to vote for us is really cool.”
