The sound of Neil Diamond comes to Lincoln Drill Hall next week as singer and guitarist Bob Drury celebrates the life and work of this musical legend.

Featuring iconic songs from a hit-filled career such as Cracklin’ Rosie, Sweet Caroline, Love on The Rocks, America, Play Me and Girl You’ll be a Woman Soon, alongside much-loved album tracks and more recent acoustic material,

Bob Drury is a well travelled entertainer with experience in a wide range of musical genres.

Some years ago, whilst learning a handful of Neil Diamond songs for performances, he discovered that his voice had virtually the same vocal range as ‘the jazz singer’.

But it was an entertainment manager at a London venue who first told Bob that his voice actually sounded like the man himself.

He has now been presenting his show, The Neil Diamond Story, for several year and has performed to audiences all over the UK and overseas.

Such is the accuracy of his show, is has become a must-see for all Neil Diamond fans.

Bob Drury is at the Drill Hall on Thursday, August 27 at 7.30pm.

Tickets priced £16 are available from the box office on 01522 873894 or online at www.lincolndrillhall.com
