Dozens of local school kids are set to do battle at Lodge Lane, Dinninton, in the annual tag rugby tournament next week.
The event, organised and hosted by Dinnington Rugby Club, takes place on 22nd May.
Games begin at 10.30am, and teams will compete in mini leagues of four to be completed by 12 noon.
After a short break for lunch, the school sides will join either the Cup or Plate knockout with a presentation at 2.30pm to close the event.
Dinnington are also providing a venue for this year’s South Yorkshire Rugby Sevens, with a men’s qualifier event at Lodge Lane on 22nd June.
The third summer event of note at the club, is the inaugural ladies tag rugby festival.
It will take place on Saturday 13th July, with entry open to any rugby club or interested team.
The cost will be £10 per team, and the deadline for entry is 11th July.
On 8th September Dinnington Rugby Club will hold Its a Knockout, a family fun day in aid of the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice charity.
