THE Maltbees Netball Club have found their level, in the new Dearne Valley League.
That’s the view of player Leah Carratt, who revealed the ladies are looking for even more competitive action.
Speaking on their early, unbeaten, progress in the new league set-up, she told the Guardian: “We’ve only played two games, but so far so good.”
“This league is more at our level and we’re all thoroughly enjoying it.”
She believes the more time the Maltbees spend on the court together, the better they’ll become.
“The team are gelling really well and we’re getting more and more used to playing with one another,” she said. “We’re in talks over joining another league, in Sheffield, which has divisions, so would be good for us to start at the bottom and hopefully work our way up.”
