Clumber Park bounced back from back-to-back defeats with a victory over Welbeck II in Division One on Saturday.
Welbeck II were dismissed at a sun-kissed Clumber for just 120, before the hosts went on to make 124 for 4 with a solid team performance.
After losing the toss Clumber could have been fearing an afternoon of chasing leather, but the Welbeck batsman were never at the races.
A stunning one handed catch from recalled veteran Simon Dean got the ball rolling as the visitors slumped to 8 for 3 in the opening overs.
Alistair Skinner (3 for 24) was again superb for the hosts who never let Welbeck into the game.
Able bowling support came from skipper Gareth Beard (2 for 17), David Beard (2 for 19), Callum Rutherford (2 for 27) and Mark Dean (1 for 6) as Clumber dismissed their opponents for 120.
The Clumber reply started with a flurry of runs from Dave Beard (27) but following his dismissal Welbeck made a spirited attempt to defend their meagre total, making the home side scrap for every run.
However, Darren Ward (38), Adam Bellamy (19) and Ed Foulds (15*) ensured there would be no dramas to see Clumber ease home by six wickets and return to winning ways.
The result leaves the Clumber men third in Division One, albeit a long way behind the top two, but with a 12-point lead over fourth placed Mansfield.
Clumber travel to Harthill, who have just two wins to their credit so far this season, on Saturday.
