FORMER Worksop Town legend Chris Waddle and ex Tigers boss Martin McIntosh returned to Sandy Lane to raise money for Worksop Parramore striker Lee Whittington last week.

The duo played in a benefit match for Whittington, who is unable to work after undergoing surgery on a facial injury sustained in a recent match.

Waddle and McIntosh featured for a Parramore side who lost 5-4 to Sheffield FC at Sandy Lane on Thursday.

The Parramore goals came from Lee Thompson, Jamie Green and a brace from Man of the Match McIntosh.

Sheffield FC had manager Curtis Woodhouse in the starting 11, alongside Lincoln City boss David Holdsworth.
