Rain affects inland sport

AS many of you noticed, and were quick to point out, the fishing column didn’t feature in last week’s Worksop edition – but the good news is that it’s available at www.worksopguardian.co.uk, or in the Dinnington Guardian, with updates on the European Beach Open.

For those of you without a computer or unable to get a Dinno copy, please ring Roger on the number at the top of the column for all the information.

We are keeping it short this week, but it almost goes without saying that the recent heavy rain has adversely effected our inland sport.

But for those of you who do venture out, please remember to take extra care as we don’t want to be writing coverage of any of our readers having accidents.

With Christmas almost upon us and many hoping that Santa will bring tackle bonus, it is worth remembering that our five local tackle dealers offer a service and after sales service that is second to none, and vouchers are obtainable.

It is also worth remembering that they support our sport throughout the year and have a vast local knowledge and freely give advice and help.
