Gateford are district champions

Gateford Park Primary School - Bassetlaw District Champions 2012

GATEFORD Park Primary are the district athletics champions.

Their Key Stage 2 indoor athletics team travelled to Retford for the Bassetlaw competition and returned victorious.

They will now travel to represent Bassetlaw at the county final, at Nottingham University on Monday 27th February.

Head teacher Gareth Letton congratulated the children, who were still proudly wearing their medals, in a ‘good news’ assembly on Friday.

He said: “I’m obviously delighted with what is a fantastic achievement and thank the staff who made this possible for the children.”
