RETFORD UNITED were crowned UniBond First Division Champions with a superb win over Northern Division winners Bradford Park Avenue on Tuesday.
The game got off to the perfect start as Mick Goddard fired the home side into the lead.
United increased the lead after 16 minutes when Dan White found Ollie Chappel who fired an unstoppable shot into the net to give Badgers another trophy.

A LATE rally from Retford United saw them end the league campaign on a high on Saturday.
After going a goal down in the first half, two goals in two second-half minutes from Mick Godber and Neil Harvey gave Badgers a win and elevated them to the impressive end-of-season total of 99 points.
ON Saturday at 4pm, a Players v Supporters match will take place at Cannon Park, with manager Peter Duffield refereeing the game.
The match will precede the annual presentation evening (7pm). Entry to both is free.
