Badgers batter Burscough

RETFORD United put Burscough to the sword on Saturday, smashing six goals past them at Cannon Park.

Darryl Thomas opened the scoring on five minutes, Colin Marrison netted fromt he spot on 12 and Thomas was on target again eight minutes later to make it 3-0.

Neil Harvey added a fourth on 23 minutes and Thomas secured his hat-trick in the second half.

Marrison's second penalty made it six to round off the scoring.

Darren Byers was the goalscorer for Burscough.
