BASSETLAW’S orienteers hope to be back in action after their planned run in Derbyshire fell victim to the weather at the weekend.
Snow covered the gritstone edges and the event was cancelled.
This weekend sees a night event on Saturday evening and a colour coded event on Sunday, both at Thieves Wood, near Mansfield.
Starts on the Sunday are between 10.30am and 12.30pm, with courses available for all ages and abilities.
The Bassetlaw’s Primary Schools Orienteering Event will be held this year at Ranby House School on Thursday 15th March. It will be part of the Bassetlaw Games and there will be certificates for everyone who attends.
