RETFORD United have received a massive boost ahead of the 2011/12 season, in the form of shirt sponsorship deals.

The Badgers’ home shirts and tracksuits will be sponsored by local solicitors Jones and Co.

That deal will carry an option to extend the partnership for a further two seasons.

A club statement confirmed: “Jones and Co have agreed a substantial sponsorship deal for the home shirts and tracksuits.”

“This is a major coup for the Badgers in our preparations for the new season, and we are delighted to have Jones and Co on board as our major sponsor.”

The away kit will be sponsored by Holdsworth Foods, a company based in Markham Vale in Chesterfield.

They will also provide items for Retford United to stock in the canteen.

A club spokesman added: “This is a significant deal which will surely benefit both the club and Holdsworth Foods for the 2011/12 season.”
