IT has been a busy week for Retford United, despite the postponement of Saturday’s trip to Frickley Athletic due to a waterlogged pitch.
The club saw the departure of winger Ryan Hindley, ironically to Frickley, and Dan White also left Badgers and moved on to Sheffield FC, who ply their trade in the Evo-Stik Division One South.
Charlie Tunnard, 20, is the latest player to join the ranks at Cannon Park.
A former Sheffield Wednesday apprentice, the striker signed on a professional contract with the Owls in August 2009, but is now a free agent and will link up with the Retford squad in preparation for the clash against Worksop Town on Wednesday evening.
Badgers will take on Frickley Athletic in a re-arranged fixture on Tuesday 1st March at 7.45pm.
