GAINSBOROUGH Trinity picked up three points and relegated their opponents on the Northolme on Saturday.

Steve Housham’s men won 2-0 against Eastwood Town, the visitors having their relegation confirmed.

The goals didn’t come until deep in the second half, Jonathan D’Laryea getting his second of the season on 72 minutes and 10 minutes later Matthew Gooden doubling the Blues’ advantage.

Trinity are back in action tomorrow night, visiting 13th placed Gloucester.
