RETFORD United have released a statement confirming a major restructure of the club's finances.

In a statement released on the club's official website, a spokesperson said: "From today, the 1st February, Retford United Football Club have undergone a major restructure both on and off the field."

"One of the changes off the field is the res
tructure of the management of the club which will be announced in a press release on our website by Friday 5th."

"Moving forward with the future of Retford United Football Club, all players have been offered new deals which were finalised over the last few days."

"These have been accepted by all players with the unfortunate exception of Ryan Ford who has left the club by mutual consent."

"Ford has been a great servant for the Badgers, with one of the highlights of his time at the club lifting the Notts Senior Cup last May at Notts County's Meadow Lane Ground. The club would like to thank Ryan for his time at Cannon Park, and he will always be welcomed back."

Badgers had their match called off on Saturday due to a frozen pitch but they're back in action on Tuesday evening (tomorrow) at Cannon Park, hosting Hucknall Town in the Notts Senior Cup.
