BRIDON are proving to be the most inconsistent side in the division.

They are capable of wiping the floor with the very best, but you wouldn't back them to beat anybody before a match because you sim
ply don't know which Bridon side are going to turn up.

They are a perfect replica of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde – and Caythorpe II must have been very pleased that the timid one showed up, as they beat them convincingly by 31 runs.

Batting first, Caythorpe were bowled out for 196. James Crooks (3 for 51), Colin Hurst (3 for 27) performed withn the ball.

In reply, Stewart Parkin (63) put in a one-man virtuoso effort, but the rest offered only flimsy resistance.

Retford 265 for 2 Thoresby Colliery 145 all out

THORESBY were completely blown away by Retford by a massive 120 runs in one of the most one-sided matches you will ever see.

Batting first, Retford amassed a massive 265 for 2, with Australian star Rob Condy being unbeaten on 135 after a commanding and superb innings.

Pascal Broadley (58) and Darren Spooner (32) both added quality support as Retford simply ran riot and Thoresby could find no answer.

Bridon II 222 for 7 Grassmoor 162 for 9

BRIDON II saw off Grassmoor, with Matt Makings hitting a terrific 88.
Good support came from Andy Legg (47) and Ashley Corrie (32).

Retford II 142 for 9 Everton 143 for 1

RETFORD II were easily seen off by a good Everton side by nine wickets.
Nigel Hall (39) contributed, while bowler Tom Eldred (5 for 21) also performed well.
