Youngsters at St. John’s Primary School in Worksop tackled a mini marathon on Monday 27th April to celebrate the London Marathon and raise money for charity.

Determined pupils who took part in the gruelling race raised a whopping £1,545 for JDRF, a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with diabetes.

The school was already celebrating after Mrs Foy and Miss Stirland, both teachers at the school, completed the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April in just over five hours.
