Worksop: Last call for Rotary community fund applications

The Rotary Club of Worksop Dukeries is urgently appealing for applications to their Local Community Activity Fund.

The deadline for applications to the fund is Friday 18th October.

And successful applicants will be notified by early November.

The fund is the Rotary Club’s way of distributing the money it raises over the year, with the cash going to local causes.

Charities and organisations that receive the money are often those who would otherwise escape the attention of the wider public.

So the Rotary Club can provide a crucial boost in funding for these worthy causes.

The Rotary Club would like to receive applications from voluntary and community groups who can demonstrate why they need Rotary help.

Some of the local charities and organisations supported by The Rotary Club of Worksop Dukeries were Trade Aid, Worksop Music and Drama Festival, the Whitwell Centre, The 7 Project, Polio Eradication and the Aurora Wellbeing Centre.
