A bank in Worksop will be giving away free bike spoke reflectors as part of a safety campaign.
The Nottingham Building Society, on Bridge Street, will be giving away the free reflectors until the end of October.
It is part of the banks Be Safe and Be Seen campaign and they have teamed up with radio station Gem 106.
Customer adviser, Krystal Hayes said: “People can call into The Nottingham Building Society branch and collect one free bike Spoke Reflector each.”
“There are a limited number, so it is strictly a first come first served basis .”
“Once the bike reflectors are gone, they are gone.”
Krystal added that even though the radio station, Gem 106 may not be popular in Worksop, the bank doesn’t want people to miss out on the give away.
When collecting the reflectors, people can also fill out an entry form and which will give them the chance to win a bike.
The closing date for the bike competition is Tuesday 28th October.
The aim of the Be Safe and Be Seen campaign, is to urge all pedestrians and cyclists to make sure they are visible on the roads as summer time comes to an end.
