Cyclists took to the Canch Skate Park in Worksop to receive a free bike MOT from the police and fire services last week.

The Take Pride in Your Ride event on Thursday 9th April allowed people to get free bike locks, which were donated by Bassetlaw councillors, security marking equipment and immobilise property registration.

There were stalls with goodies on offer and plenty of raffle prizes up for grabs as well as a bouncy castle, refreshments, ice creams and hot and cold foods.

The event was aimed at making sure bikes are roadworthy ahead of the summer months.
