Customers of a Worksop business helped to raise funds for a local forces charity in the week running up to Armistice Day.

Provide Education recruitment agency donated a proportion of every booking that week, to the Retford branch of the Royal Air Forces Association Wings Appeal Charity.

The initiative raised £100.

“We were really keen to show our support for this fantastic charity which works in the Retford, Worksop and Gainsborough areas to support both serving and ex-serving RAF personnel and their families,” said Cheryl Hyland, Provide Education branch manager.

“We told all the schools we work with about this fund-raising initiative and they were very happy to support the cause.”

Provide Education works with hundreds of teachers and schools helping them to find work and fill job vacancies across the region.

The Royal Air Forces Association Wings Appeal Charity supports injured airman fighting to get back on their feet, young children who are missing their parents away on overseas operations and also World War veterans seeking companionship and support.
