Craft mad creative types will be flocking to Dukeries Garden Centre near Worksop this summer.

The centre’s popular craft department has re-launched and it is bigger and better than ever.

A series of interactive demonstrations will be on offer to showcase the extended range of arts and crafts products available.

It is hoped the Worksop community will be inspired to get creative.

The new craft store has a kitsch ‘do it yourself’ feel, featuring bright colours and rustic display crates.

And the centre is equipped with a central activity table where staff will host free events and demonstrations for local people.

Local craft groups are also encouraged to use the facilities which will be available to use free of charge.

To support the launch, garden centre owners Notcutts has also developed a range of free ‘how to’ guides for customers to follow themselves.

“We’ve seen a real increase in demand for arts and crafts over the last few years and so this re-launch is very much about offering our customers choice when they come into our centres,” said Andrew Rawson, centre manager at Dukeries Garden Centre.

“We’re really excited to be trialling this brand new section in our store and are confident that our customers will love it too.”
