AWARD winning dentists are preparing to open a new NHS surgery in Retford.

Adam Walker and partners Michael and Margaret Naylor are looking forward to treating new dental patients at a practice, DeNtal22, at Crown House, on Chapelgate.

The former doctors’ surgery is being given a new lease of life as work continues for the opening on 1st February.

“We are firmly committed to providing high quality dental care within the NHS for the people of Retford within a caring and friendly environment,” said Mr Walker.

“We aim to make dentistry a pleasant experience and a fun visit for children.”

Mrs Naylor believes that accessibility is important and the practice will have late night opening and Saturday mornings available for patients.

She hopes that in the future there should be no problem in accessing NHS dental care within Bassetlaw.

The practice will have state of the art dental surgeries, the highest standards of cross infection control and hygiene as well as a play area for children and a comfortable waiting area for patients. There will also be full disabled access.

The organisation has won the Yorkshire and Humberside Employer of the Year award in the small business category three times.
