Todwick goes back to the 1940s next weekend with a special event at the village hall.

An evening of good old fashioned entertainment is guaranteed on Saturday 21st September.

The special guest is a George Formby impersonator, who will serenade guests with his banjo antics and cheeky tunes throughout the night.

You are encouraged to go along with the theme by dressing in a 1940s style - although this is optional.

Guests will also need to bring along their own 1940s style supper and drinks - the organisers will supply everything else.

Head along to Todwick Village Hall from 7.30pm when the vintage fun will begin.

Tickets are £7 each and are available from Helen Greer-Waring on 01909 774472.
