Children can recive free cooking lessons from Lincoln College and the Riverford organic veg company.

Twelve young people aged 11-15 will learn how to cook using fresh and organic food. The workshops will be run by Riverford cook Diana Burke who will teach the young cookshow to make meals from scratch.

Jon Day, who delivers Riverford veg in Worksop, said: “We believe passionately that the best food comes from using organiclly grown, fresh ingredients.”

The cookery workshops take place on the 24th and 25th of July in Lincoln.

The application deadline is Sunday 15th July. To apply go to www.riverford.co.uk/juniorcooks
