WORKSOP & District Scout Association held their annual St George’s Service where members received awards for excellent service.

Donald Beck, Margaret Beck, Mavis Taylor and Michael Taylor all received awards at the special ceremony held at St John’s Church on Overend Road.

Mr Taylor, group scout leader for 4th Worksop (St John’s) Scout Group, said it was a very special day for all who took part.

“It is quite some time since Worksop members have received such awards, but this year five members have been recognised - four of these were presented at the service by deputy county chairman of the Nottinghamshire Scout Council Paul Neal,” he said.
