Welcome to your daily round up of all today’s important stuff...

Cloudy for much of the day, with occasional sunny intervals. There will also be showers, with some of the showers heavy at times.

Chancery Lane in Retford, northbound at the West Street junction is closed, because of roadworks.

Rampton Road, Laneham is closed from its junction with Main Street for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction. It is closed until 6pm on Friday 8th July to allow for drainage improvement works.

Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell at Retford Little Theatre, Wharf Road.

A sell-out West End hit, the play is based on the writings of real-life journalist, gambler, alcoholic and four-times married Jeffrey Bernard who wrote a column for the Spectator magazine. The play’s title refers to the magazine’s habit of printing a one-line apology on a blank page when he was too drunk or hung-over to produce the required copy and a substitute article could not be found before the deadline for publication.

Performances at 7.30pm. Shows runs until Saturday 9th July. For bookings call 01777 702002.
