A generally dry and fine day with some bright or sunny spells at first but cloud increasing during the afternoon with perhaps a few spots of rain later.


Chancery Lane in Retford, northbound at the West Street junction is closed, because of roadworks.

Temporary 10mph speed restriction from Ordsall Road, Retford from its junction with Northumbria Drive and West Hill Road, Retford from its junction with Northumbria Drive. The restriction is in place from 8am today until 6pm on Sunday 21st August and is to allow for carriageway resurfacing works.

Lime Tree Avenue in Retford will be closed from its junction with A620 Hospital Road for a distance of 30 metres from 7.30am on Monday 15th August to 7pm on Sunday 21st August. This is to allow for drainage improvement works.


Oldcotes car boot sale on the A634 Oldcotes to Blyth Road from 10am to 3pm.

It is now open on Wednesdays during the summer as well as every Sunday and bank holiday Mondays.

Entrance is £1 and parking is 50p.

Family fun swimming at the pool at Misterton Primary School from 11am to 2pm.

The session may be restricted to an hour depending on demand. Only £2 per person and under fives are free.
