WEATHER

A dry and fine day for the most part with bright and sunny spells. Cloud will thicken after midday with a few, mostly light showers for a time during the afternoon. It will be mostly dry at first with some clear spells this evening, but cloud increasing later with a few showers likely by the end of the night.

TRAVEL

Grove Street level crossing in Retford is closed from 9.30am to 2pm.

This is to allow for essential level crossing works.

An alternative route is Grove Road – Ladywell Lane – Thorpe Street, Headon – Retford Road – A638 Great North Road and Vice Versa

Chancery Lane in Retford, northbound at the West Street junction is closed, because of roadworks.

WHAT’S ON

Idle Valley Health Walk starts at 11am.

A brisk hour-long walk around the beautiful Idle Valley Reserve.

Meet at the Learning Centre, on North Road, Retford at 11am. No dogs or need to book. Refreshments are available.
