WEATHER

A dry day. After a cloudy or misty start in most places sunny spells will develop. Feeling chilly at times in the northeasterly breeze. After a mainly fine start to the evening, cloudier skies will spread west across the region and this cloud is likely to bring showers to some parts overnight.

TRAVEL

Chancery Lane in Retford still closed northbound at the West Street junction, because of roadworks.

Outgang Lane in Treswell still closed in both directions at the Cow Pasture Lane junction, because of roadworks.

On Monday 2nd May the following roads will be closed from 7.30am to 6pm for Charter Day.

- Bridgegate, Retford, from its junction with Rectory Road to its junction with Market Place. - Grove Street, Retford, from its junction with Beardsall Row to its junction with Market Place. - New Street, Retford, from its junction with Carolgate eastwards for a distance of 92 metres.
