WEATHER

Cloudy with the occasional rain shower. Some of the rain could be heavy but it should clear to brighter skies later. The rest of the day will be a mix of sunshine and showers.

TRAVEL

Chancery Lane in Retford closed northbound at the West Street junction, because of roadworks.

Smeath Lane in Clarborough closed to allow for carriageway patching works.

WHAT’S ON

Lunchtime Organ Recital at St Swithun’s Church, Cannon Square from 1pm-2pm.

Stephen Carey, organist for Cantate Choir and also plays for various local churches will be performing.

Light lunches available from 12.30pm. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
