A GRAND day out will mark the 60th anniversary of the last of the iconic Field Marshall tractors.

The Marshall Rally was organised by Gainsborough and District Heritage Association to mark 60 years of the Field Marshall Series 3A.

The event is being held at Williamsons Farm on the A159, Thonock Road, a mile north of Gainsborough on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th August 2012.

Primarily a tractor rally, there will be something for everyone. And it is sure to be a great family day out.

Exhibits will include traction engines, road rollers, commercial vehicles, stationary engines, modelers, trade and craft stall holders, and classic vehicles.

Further attractions include threshing displays, a ploughing demonstration field, children’s fair, crash simulator, bands and arena displays, and a Spitfire fly-past on the Saturday.

Everyone is welcome, and the organising committee and have provided a shuttle service of vintage buses on the Saturday.

They will run to and from Gladstone Street coach stop (behind the Old Hall) and the rally at hourly intervals from 8.30am.

The deadline for exhibitor entries into the programme has now closed, but organisers still want to hear from exhibitors of all classes of exhibits and traders who may wish to attend.
