WALKING enthusiasts are invited to talk part in a special railway walk to explore Industrial Sheffield.

Walk promoter Stuart Parker, of the Ramblers’ Association, said: “It’s a seven mile linear walk following the Upper Don and via Kelham Island to finish at Hillsborough.”

The walk takes place on Saturday 4th February. The Northern Railtrain service departs from Gainsborough Lea Road Station at 9.48am to Sheffield.

All are welcome. Walks are free but rail fares apply.
