GAINSBOROUGH’S Queen Elizabeth’s High School has been chosen to host BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions show this week.

On the evening of Friday 7th December, the school will welcome the famed topical and public affairs show - hosted by Jonathan Dimbleby.

The show will see a panel of personalities from the worlds of politics, media and elsewhere are posed questions by the audience.

The school are inviting a wide-ranging audience of guests, staff, parents, students and the general public, as well as welcoming representatives of local political parties, and other prominent VIP guests, and hope to have the opportunity to meet the chairman and panel members after the production.

Headteacher David Allsop said that he was delighted to be the latest in a prestigious line of schools chosen to host the programme.

“This is a wonderful accolade for the school, and for Gainsborough,” he said.

Mr Allsop added: “We are all thrilled to be chosen to host this flagship programme and look forward to the 7th December with eager anticipation and excitement.”
