Police appeal over spate of burglaries in Blyth

Police think the same offenders are responsible for a spate of burglaries in Blyth.

The eight incidents happened between 1.30am and 4.15am on Tuesday 1st May in the Spital Road, Spitalfields and The Maltings areas of the village.

All eight addresses were secure at the time, with entry forced to five. Items such as handbags containing mobile phones and cash, and electrical items were stolen.

At three of the attacked homes the offenders were unable to gain entry.

Witnesses or anyone with any information about the culprits is asked to contact Notts Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
