Police are appealing for information after a man was allegedly tied up during a burglary in Maltby.

At around 12.10am on Sunday 18th November, a 27-year-old man was alone at home, when two unknown men entered his garage. He was led into his house and taken upstairs and allegedly bound. The men searched his house, reportedly stealing his wallet and blue Subaru Impreza. The man was not injured.

The suspects are described as white men in their mid-20s to early 30s, of average build. One was wearing a dark shell suit top with the hood up and a scarf covering his face. The other is believed to have been wearing a grey tracksuit.

Anyone who saw the Subaru or the incident is urged to call South Yorkshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
