Police advice on off-road vehicles

NOTTS residents are being warned to ensure they use their off-road vehicles responsibly.

With the days drawing out and better weather, Notts Police has had complaints of off-road motorcycles being ridden in various locations around local parishes.

A police spokesman said: “Off-road, unregistered quads and motor bikes are legally only allowed to be used on the owner’s property with the land owner’s permission.”

“Any mechanically-propelled vehicles, which are not taxed and or insured and are used in any other areas, are likely to be seized.”
