Music legend and Beach Boys main Brian Wilson has postponed his upcoming tour, which included a date at Nottingham Arena on 23rd September.

Due to the overwhelming success of his movie Love and Mercy, which has opened in the USA to critical acclaim, Brian has had to postpone his tour to concentrate on commitments in America.

He will, however, be back in the UK and Europe in 2016 with a string of concerts to mark the 50th Anniversary of his the Beach boys’ seminal album Pet Sounds, which will be his final European tour’.

In statement, Wilson said: “I’m sorry I won’t be able to make these shows this year, but I look forward to seeing all my fans in 2016 to help me celebrate 50 years of Pet Sounds.

“This will be my final European tour. I hope you all enjoy my movie when it opens in the UK on 10th July. I’ll see you all soon.”

Customers who purchased tickets via the Capital FM Arena Nottingham website do not need to contact the venue as they will automatically be refunded within the next two to three weeks.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method that tickets were paid for.

For those that paid by cash, refunds will be given by cheque. Cheques will be posted to the address on your account.

If tickets were purchased via a ticketing agency such as Ticketmaster, Platinum, See Tickets, Gigantic, Viagogo, Stub Hub or similar, then customers must contact them directly for a refund.
