INVESTIGATIONS will begin into a murder at Ye Olde Bell at Barnby Moor on Friday 23rd September.

But there is no need for alarm, as the management are confident their eagle-eyed guests will catch the culprit.

Furthermore, the foul deed will be part of a Murder Mystery Evening.

Presented by the Village Players of Everton, the evening will raise funds for the Guardian’s adopted charity Bassetlaw Hospice.

Guests will be asked to help the ‘police’ solve the dastardly crime by interviewing a range of likely suspects.

They will need to sift through a twisted medley of misdeeds and illicit relationships - in which there are more red herrings than the North Sea. The aim is to discover the culprit using evidence - some incriminating, some not so. A sharp eye and sharp wit will help uncover the mystery.

Tickets for what promises to be a fun evening are priced at £28 per person and include a two course meal and coffee.

To book call Helen Eshelby at Bassetlaw Hospice on 01777 710444 or the Ye Olde Bell Hotel 01777 705121.
