Motorcyclist who died in Budby crash has been named

The motorcyclist who died in a serious crash in Budby on Friday (October 9) has been named.

Stephen Philip Carter, 57, of Sherburn, Elmet, North Yorkshire died at the scene on the A616.

Nottinghamshire Police were called to the scene at about 4.10pm on Friday, October 9.

A motorbike was in collision with a light coloured Mazda pick up truck.

A woman who was also travelling on the bike was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Mazda was treated at the scene.

Nottinghamshire Police are working to investigate the cause of the collision.
