Unemployed young people are invited to Worksop Fire Station on Wednesday 14th May to find out about the Prince’s Trust Team Programme.

The next team programme, run by Notts Fire and Rescue Service, starts on Monday 19th May and lasts for 12 weeks.

Young people aged 16 - 25 have the chance to learn new skills and improve their confidence, motivation and employability.

Head down to Worksop Fire Station on Eastgate, Worksop, any time on Wednesday from 10am - 3pm.

The 12 week course offers team building activities, a week-long residential trip, a community project and two weeks of work experience.

You will also get advice on how to write CVs as well as gaining nationally recognised qualifications.

Three quarters of young people on Prince’s Trust schemes move into work, education or training.

Gavin Clark, Prince’s Trust team programme leader in Bassetlaw said: “Too many young people feel they don’t have any skills and talents, and feel they’ll never amount to anything.”

“The team programme really does help them to turn their lives around, helping them into work, education or training.”

“The programme is full of exciting activities and projects from start to finish and will leave lasting memories and allow for friendships to be made.”

For more information on the course call Gavin on 07967 690795 or email gavin.clark@notts-fire.gov.uk
