Youngsters showed off their cake decorating talents at a recent contest at The Crossing in Worksop.

Judges were looking for the best decorated Christmas buns and were not disappointed by the standard of efforts submitted.

The junior baking contest was open to youngsters aged between eight and 12. The judges were Rev Geoffrey Clarke, from The Crossing, and Coun Griff Wynne, deputy leader of Bassetlaw Council.

Joshua Jordan, pictured centre, was chosen as the winner, with Kieran Sime, left, in second and Jack Taylor in third.
