Jazz is the word and the sound at Worksop Library next week.
In a special evening of words and music, author John Harvey will read extracts from his novels and poetry, accompanied by the jazz band Blue Territory.
John is most famous for his series of jazz-influenced Charlie Resnick novels, which are set in Nottingham.
A celebration in words and music of some of the great jazz musicians of the past, the evening is part of Notts County Council’s Jazz Steps Live in the Libraries series.
The event takes place on Tuesday, 11th February at 7.30pm.
Tickets priced £10 and £8 are available on 01909 535353 or email on firstname.lastname@example.org
