Residents are being warned they could notice an increase in smoke as firefighters continue to extinguish the blaze at a Worksop recycling plant.
Fire crews are now able to access the smouldering material after a building on site was dismantled.
They will continue to break up the material and extinguish it over the next few days.
The fire at the centre on Shireoaks Road broke out at around 5am on Sunday.
At its peak there were 10 fire engines at the site, battling the blaze which started in a building used for storing recycling material.
