Wheelchair racer Olli Taylor has been given a helping hand from his work colleagues towards achieving his Paralympic dream.

Taylor, who has cerebral palsy works at Sainsbury’s in Worksop and is hoping to be selected for the Rio 2016 TeamGB Paralympic team.

He is currently ranked fifth for the T33 and T34 categories in the 100m, and 200, in the country.

“As with many athletes he has to do a lot of fund-raising as sponsorship, particularly for Paralympians is very scarce,” said Kerry Lewis, manager at neighbouring Sainsbury’s store in Chesterfield.

“He is in dire need of another specially adapted racing wheelchair so Sainbury’s are donating £1000 to the cause.”

Ollie was presented with the cheque at the Sainsbury’s store in Chesterfield.
