Lound Bird Club are giving a presentation on the area’s bird life on Thursday 12th September.
The event will take place at Idle Valley Nature Reserve from 7.30pm, with refreshments included in the £2 admission price.
The group, founded in 2000, is dedicated to the monitoring and recording of birds to the area, both migrant and native.
The group are based at Idle Valley, where a wide range of habitats has seen over 250 different species recorded throughout the year.
Recently, a rare Melodious Warbler was spotted in Broom Wood at Tiln, with birdwatchers from across the nation flocking to catch a glimpse.
Autumn and winter are key times for birdwatchers, as migration patterns increase the number of species on show.
Club members will be on hand all evening to answer any questions.
