Children, staff and volunteers at North Anston’s Bluebell Wood Hospice are thrilled to have Louis Tomlinson, one fifth of the world’s biggest boy band One Direction, supporting their charity once again.

Patron of the charity Louis has lent his famous signature to the hospice to use on a limited edition bag which features the autograph and the Bluebell Wood logo.

The ‘Louis Bag’ will be available online for One Direction fans all over the world. They are also available in each of the eight different Bluebell Wood charity shops in the region.

Louis said: “I’m so pleased to be able to support Bluebell Wood, my local charity, by putting my name on the bag. I really hope it raises lots of money for this fantastic charity.”

James Bower, retail manager at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, said: “This bag is an ideal opportunity for us to reach some of our younger supporters. We always try and think of unique ideas and gifts for our stores, so it’s great to have the help of Louis with this bag.”

Claire Rintoul, Cheif Executive at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice said: “We are thrilled to have Louis as one of our patrons, he has really helped raise our profile, not just locally but internationally. The bags are a great opportunity for us to raise much needed funds as our current running costs are over £3 million per year and we receive less than 5% statutory funding.”

The special, limited edition ‘Louis Bags’ are available at £4.99 online at www.bluebellwood.org/louisbag or at one of the eight Bluebell Wood shops around the region, which are located on the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice website: http://www.bluebellwood.org/about-us/our-shops/
