A WORKSOP care home is celebrating the opening of new rooms and a cafe at its premises.
A total of 17 new bedrooms and living spaces, plus the LIFE Cafe were opened recently at Westwood Residential Care Home.
The aim of the cafe is to create an old fashioned tea room experience which can be enjoyed by residents and their families, without them having to leave the home. Guest of honour was Coun Ian Campbell, chairman of Bassetlaw Council.
Home manager Mel Ward said: “We are really pleased with the excellent quality of the new facilities and we strongly feel that our LIFE Cafe will enhance the quality of life for many of our residents.”
