A Mercedes car was set alight on a Maltby driveway on Wednesday night.
Fire crews from Maltby and Edlington stations attended the blaze just before midnight on 2nd April.
It was on Clarence Place in the town.
The car, which was on a driveway close to a property, was thought to have been set alight deliberately.
However, no-one was injured in the incident.
Firefighters used a water jet to extinguish the flames and left the scene at 1.50am.
In recent weeks there have been several reports of arson and criminal damage in Maltby.
On 18th March firefighters and police were called to a report that a vehicle was set alight in Firth Crescent at around 1.40am.
On this occasion a man was seen running from the scene with his arm on fire.
If you know anything about either incident call police on 101.
