A Hayton man has been banned from the road for 16 months.

Christopher Keightley, 23, of Main Street, admitted drink driving on 16th November.

Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard that police received information that Keightley was drink driving, and found him pulling into his driveway around 2.15am

Defence solicitor David Grant said Keightley had a couple of drinks while playing pool with friends and a glass of wine with a meal.

Keightley’s ban will be cut by 17 weeks if he successfully completes the drink driving rehabilitation course.

He must also pay a £150 fine, £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
